Panam\u00e1, 29 de enero de 2025. \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Una donaci\u00f3n de telas, hilos y botones, recibi\u00f3 el Centro Femenino de Rehabilitaci\u00f3n Cecilia Orillac de Chiari (Cefere), por parte de la empresa Central de Uniformes, iniciativa coordinada con la empresaria Valerie Santiago de Human Design Panam\u00e1 y la Direcci\u00f3n General del Sistema Penitenciario (DGSP).<\/p>\n

Johana Ortega, directora del Cefere, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que con esta donaci\u00f3n, el taller de costura Integrarte fortalece su capacidad de respuestas en la producci\u00f3n. Agreg\u00f3, \u201ccon esta actividad reafirmamos el compromiso del trabajo penitenciario para poder lograr la resocializaci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n

Para la empresaria Valerie Santiago, quien viene desde hace un tiempo colaborando y aportando su talento en Cefere con una serie de proyectos destinados a mejorar la calidad de vida de las privadas de libertad, con este material ellas podr\u00e1n crear por medio de unas dise\u00f1adoras que son las que las guiar\u00e1n para confeccionar bolsas, cartucheras, camisas y m\u00e1s adelante otro tipo de productos. \u201cLa idea es que ellas produzcan\u201d.<\/p>\n

Santiago destac\u00f3 que a trav\u00e9s de esta donaci\u00f3n de telas, nuevas y recicladas, se impulsa la creaci\u00f3n de productos confeccionados por las privadas de libertad, fomentando su desarrollo personal y econ\u00f3mico. \u201cQueremos ense\u00f1arles habilidades de costura y dise\u00f1o, utilizando los materiales donados para crear art\u00edculos \u00fanicos y sostenibles\u201d.<\/p>\n
