Panam\u00e1, 7 de febrero de 2022.<\/strong> Un aproximado de 62 j\u00f3venes en conflicto con la Ley Penal se beneficiaron con las llamadas telef\u00f3nicas a sus familiares organizadas en el Centro de Custodia y Cumplimiento Basilio Lakas de Col\u00f3n (CCCBL), como medida para subsanar la ausencia de las visitas f\u00edsicas debido al cierre temporal dada la situaci\u00f3n por la Covid-19.<\/p>\n

\u201cLos internos necesitan conservar ese lazo afectivo con sus familias, eso los llena de fortaleza y entusiasmo, es a la vez un aliciente para su resocializaci\u00f3n, por eso nos adaptamos a la realidad que se vive a nivel mundial por la pandemia buscando la forma de sostener esa conexi\u00f3n\u201d, subray\u00f3 Crist\u00f3bal G\u00f3ndola Laguna, director Nacional del Instituto de Estudios Interdisciplinario (IEI).<\/p>\n

Las llamadas se realizar\u00e1n dos veces por mes, participar\u00e1n todos los j\u00f3venes tanto de la Fase de Cumplimiento como de Custodia, exceptuando aquellos que hayan marcado positivo por Corona Virus los cuales se mantendr\u00e1n aislados hasta culminar la cuarentena establecida para proteger la salud del resto de la poblaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Con esta iniciativa se espera mantener a los privados de libertad en contacto con sus seres queridos como parte del respeto a los derechos humanos salvaguardando el bienestar y la integridad f\u00edsica de los mismos.<\/p>\n
