Panam\u00e1, 11 de junio de 2021.<\/strong> Fomentar el entusiasmo por la agricultura, respetando la conservaci\u00f3n del medio ambiente y el consumo de alimentos frescos y saludables entre los adolescentes en conflicto con la ley penal es el punto de partida de la realizaci\u00f3n del huerto agroecol\u00f3gico la \u201cBendici\u00f3n\u201d, en el Centro de Custodia de Arco Iris.<\/p>\n

El proyecto cuenta con la participaci\u00f3n de ocho j\u00f3venes a los cuales se les brind\u00f3 la capacitaci\u00f3n en siembra y cultivo con contextos socio-ecol\u00f3gicos lo que contribuye a favorecer la integraci\u00f3n de los participantes, impulsar el trabajo en equipo, desarrollar el aprecio por las labores agr\u00edcolas, al igual que valorar el consumo de productos libres de sustancia qu\u00edmicas nocivas para la salud y el ambiente.<\/p>\n

Crist\u00f3bal G\u00f3ndola, director Nacional de Instituto de Estudios Interdisciplinarios, subray\u00f3 la importancia de la realizaci\u00f3n de programas que motivan actitudes positivas en los adolescentes internos que a su vez les proporcionan t\u00e9cnicas de plantaci\u00f3n y recolecci\u00f3n de insumos alimenticios facult\u00e1ndoles un m\u00e9todo de autogesti\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Entre los rubros plantados se encuentran pimentones, tomates, repollos, espinacas, pepinos, habichuelas, saril, frijoles de guand\u00fa y papayas. Tambi\u00e9n, el Centro cuenta con una huerta general donde participan once j\u00f3venes y se cultiva ma\u00edz, culantro, camote, guan\u00e1bana, mango y maracuy\u00e1.<\/p>\n
