Panam\u00e1, 23 de noviembre de 2023 –<\/strong>En sus primeros cinco a\u00f1os, el Centro Log\u00edstico de Asistencia Humanitaria (CLRAH) se ha convertido en el punto de partida para el env\u00edo r\u00e1pido y efectivo de asistencia frente a desastres naturales, emergencias y situaciones de vulnerabilidad en Panam\u00e1 y el Continente.<\/p>\n

Las m\u00e1s de 7 mil toneladas de ayuda humanitaria enviadas en el Continente Americano, 19 acuerdos, convenios y memorandos de entendimiento y el respaldo de m\u00e1s de 25 organismos internacionales y regionales fortalecen el compromiso de esta dependencia del Ministerio de Gobierno (Mingob) con la comunidad humanitaria.<\/p>\n

En este sentido, Alberto Sierra Director Ejecutivo del llamado \u201cHub Humanitario\u201d destac\u00f3 que gracias a este respaldo las operaciones que se desarrollan desde su base ubicada en la \u00c1rea Econ\u00f3mica Especial Panam\u00e1 Pac\u00edfico, ha llevado asistencia a toda la regi\u00f3n en Latinoam\u00e9rica y el Caribe; as\u00ed como en el \u00e1mbito local a trav\u00e9s de su usuario paname\u00f1o el Sistema de Protecci\u00f3n Civil (Sinaproc).<\/p>\n

Sostuvo que en el \u00faltimo lustro, la entidad brind\u00f3 su respaldo a los afectados por todo tipo de emergencias, siendo las m\u00e1s frecuentes los desastres naturales como huracanes y terremotos; facilitado el transporte y la distribuci\u00f3n de ayuda humanitaria, llevando esperanza y alivio a quienes m\u00e1s lo necesitan.<\/p>\n

Igualmente, en estos 60 meses de gesti\u00f3n, el CLRAH logr\u00f3 posesionarse como un destino acad\u00e9mico importante a trav\u00e9s del Centro de Transferencia de Conocimientos, en temas de asistencia y log\u00edstica humanitaria a m\u00e1s de 3 mil personas en toda la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
