Panam\u00e1, 1 de noviembre de 2022.<\/strong>\u00a0A trav\u00e9s de una alianza estrat\u00e9gica entre el Ministerio de Gobierno (Mingob) y la Oficina de las Naciones Unidas de Servicios para Proyectos (UNOPS) se busca potenciar la capacidad del Gobierno Nacional para fortalecer las capacidades log\u00edsticas del Hub Humanitario mediante la expansi\u00f3n de las operaciones humanitarias, destac\u00f3 el ministro de Gobierno, Roger Tejada Bryden.
\nSus palabras se desprenden de una reuni\u00f3n sostenida con el director Ejecutivo Global UNOPS, Jens Wandel, quien se encuentra en Panam\u00e1; y adem\u00e1s, realiz\u00f3 un recorrido por las instalaciones del Centro Log\u00edstico Regional de Asistencia Humanitaria (CLRAH).
\n\u201cQueremos agradecer la iniciativa co-creativa iniciada con UNOPS para una eventual expansi\u00f3n de las operaciones humanitarias que realiza el CLRAH, consolidando esta alianza estrat\u00e9gica, s\u00f3lida y sostenible con Naciones Unidas para el desarrollo log\u00edstico y humanitario de la Rep\u00fablica de Panam\u00e1\u201d, resalt\u00f3 Tejada Bryden.<\/p>\n

En este encuentro, el director ejecutivo del Hub Humanitario, Alberto Sierra se refiri\u00f3 al rol y las perspectivas del Centro Log\u00edstico en la respuesta humanitaria, haciendo especial \u00e9nfasis en el preponderante papel desempe\u00f1ado durante la pandemia por la COVID-19 y otros desastres en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, Ivonne Caballero, gestora de proyectos, explic\u00f3 los antecedentes del CLRAH y el rol de UNOPS en el proyecto, siendo este uno de los aliados que coadyuv\u00f3 con el dise\u00f1o, construcci\u00f3n y mantenimiento de estas instalaciones que albergan el Hub Humanitario.<\/p>\n
