Panam\u00e1, 26 de diciembre de 2021.<\/strong>\u00a0El Centro Log\u00edstico Regional de Asistencia Humanitaria (CLRAH), en estos \u00faltimos 2 a\u00f1os, cumpli\u00f3 con la misi\u00f3n por el que fue establecido en nuestro pa\u00eds, asegur\u00f3 la ministra de Gobierno, Janaina Tewaney Mencomo.<\/p>\n

En este tiempo tan dif\u00edciles a nivel mundial, desde el llamado Hub Humanitario se duplic\u00f3 la carga brindando al Continente entero apoyo para enfrentar la Covid-19 y asistir aquellas naciones afectadas por fen\u00f3menos naturales como fueron los huracanes Eta e Iota, destac\u00f3 Tewaney Mencomo.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan informes del CLRAH, en el 2018 la entidad manej\u00f3 886 toneladas de asistencia valorada en 8 millones de balboas; en el 2019 fueron 603 toneladas por un valor de 4 millones de balboas; en el 2020 se trabaj\u00f3 con mil 492 toneladas por un valor de 24.1 millones.<\/p>\n

De enero a noviembre de este 2021, se enviaron unas mil 946 toneladas de insumos entre los cuales est\u00e1n equipos de protecci\u00f3n personal, medicamentos, mantas, carpas, pruebas de COVID-19, unidades de almacenamiento m\u00f3vil (MSU), \u201ckits\u201d de higiene, de cocina, de limpieza, mosquiteros, lonas pl\u00e1sticas, bidones colapsables, con un valor de 26.9 millones de balboas a 38 naciones del Continente.<\/p>\n
