\"\"Panam\u00e1, 24 de agosto de 2020.<\/strong> Los m\u00faltiples problemas que enfrenta la regi\u00f3n no se han dejado de atender, tal es el caso del dengue y el dengue hemorr\u00e1gico que tambi\u00e9n afecta a un gran n\u00famero de personas. Igualmente, la temporada de huracanes en el Caribe es seguida muy de cerca y que se extiende desde el 1ro de junio hasta el 30 de noviembre. Son algunas de las asistencias brindadas este a\u00f1o, asegur\u00f3 Alberto Sierra, director del Centro Log\u00edstico Regional de Asistencia Humanitaria (CLRAH).<\/p>\n

Se han reunido con representantes de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Estados del Caribe (AEC), conformada por 25 miembros plenos, donde Panam\u00e1 y el CLRAH, mantienen un acuerdo para brindar asistencia, si son golpeados por un hurac\u00e1n u otro desastre natural.<\/p>\n

En cuanto a las Antillas, Sierra inform\u00f3 que unas 14 naciones han recibido apoyo para enfrentar al Covid-19, desde Rep\u00fablica Dominicana y Hait\u00ed hasta peque\u00f1as naciones como Bahamas y Barbados.<\/p>\n

Entre los miembros plenos de la AEC est\u00e1n: Antigua y Barbuda, Bahamas, Cuba, Dominica, Republica Dominicana, Granada, St Kitts y Nevis, San Vicente, Suriman, y Trinidad y Tobago, entre otras.<\/p>\n
