\"\"Panam\u00e1, 21 de agosto de 2020.<\/strong> No hay nada m\u00e1s natural para Panam\u00e1 que ser humanitario, asegur\u00f3 la ministra de Gobierno, Janaina Tewaney Mencomo, al inaugurar el foro virtual El Hub Humanitario en Panam\u00e1, una plataforma log\u00edstica de aprendizaje y de coordinaci\u00f3n. La Ministra de Gobierno destac\u00f3 que en toda su historia el pa\u00eds ha servido como centro de distribuci\u00f3n, lo que impacta positivamente no s\u00f3lo en la regi\u00f3n, sino en el mundo entero.<\/p>\n

Tewaney Mencomo destac\u00f3 que este tipo de actividades deben servir para compartir las experiencias del Hub Humanitario de las Am\u00e9ricas en tiempos de Covid y presenta oportunidades para una mejor coordinaci\u00f3n de esa ayuda en la regi\u00f3n. Mientras tanto, los participantes del evento coincidieron en que la Rep\u00fablica de Panam\u00e1 facilita la coordinaci\u00f3n de todas las organizaciones.<\/p>\n

Para Walter Cotte, director Regional para Am\u00e9rica de la Federaci\u00f3n Internacional de la Cruz Roja y Media Luna Roja, el Centro Log\u00edstico Regional de Asistencia Humanitaria (CLRAH) es parte fundamental de lo que la entidad se define como una red humanitaria silenciosa que integra de una manera muy simple a comunidades, actores p\u00fablicos, privados, corporativos y ONGs.<\/p>\n

En su intervenci\u00f3n, Miguel Barreto, director Regional para Am\u00e9rica del Programa Mundial de Alimentos, resalt\u00f3 que en Panam\u00e1 se encuentran la mayor\u00eda de las agencias de Naciones Unidas y organizaciones no gubernamentales internacionales, lo que facilita la coordinaci\u00f3n en el manejo de la ayuda humanitaria.<\/p>\n

Alberto Sierra, director del Hub Humanitario, asegur\u00f3 que la entidad no solo atiende a los usuarios, en medio de la pandemia del Covid-19 y otras necesidades; sino tambi\u00e9n, trabaja en dinamizar los procesos para que en poco tiempo, la ayuda humanitaria llegue en menos tiempo posible.<\/p>\n
