Millones de afectados por el COVID-19 en 27 naciones del Continente est\u00e1n recibiendo ayuda humanitaria gracias al Centro Log\u00edstico Regional de Asistencia Humanitaria (CLRAH) y que sirve de plataforma log\u00edstica de asistencia humanitaria que facilita el almacenamiento y redistribuci\u00f3n de insumos durante emergencias, indic\u00f3 el representante del Dep\u00f3sito de Respuesta Humanitaria de las Naciones Unidas (UNHRD), Francisco Quesada.<\/p>\n
Quesada destac\u00f3 que a trav\u00e9s del Centro , desde marzo pasado, el Dep\u00f3sito de Respuesta ha efectuados 59 misiones para establecer almacenes m\u00f3viles en diferentes regiones de Am\u00e9rica, que han facilitado la distribuci\u00f3n de miles de implementos para combatir el coronavirus.<\/p>\n
Igualmente, le ha facilitado la labor a la Federaci\u00f3n Internacional de Sociedades de la Cruz Roja y de la Media Luna Roja (FICR) para que puedan hacer llegar m\u00e1s ayuda humanitaria en varios pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
En este sentido, record\u00f3 que entidades vinculadas con la Organizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas han habilitado un fondo para las operaciones Covid-19, lo que garantiza que la ayuda siga llegando a los afectados y por esta raz\u00f3n, ya los representantes del Gobierno de Panam\u00e1 dentro del CLRAH nos est\u00e1n ayudando en las negociaciones para contar con m\u00e1s espacio para nuestra operaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
