\"\"Panam\u00e1 30 de enero de 2018.<\/strong>\u00a0El director ejecutivo del Centro Log\u00edstico Regional de Asistencia Humanitaria (CLRAH), Carlos G\u00f3mez, particip\u00f3 del acto de inauguraci\u00f3n de la bodega de la Federaci\u00f3n Internacional de la Cruz Roja y la Media Luna Roja (FICR), usuario internacional del Hub Humanitario, iniciando as\u00ed operaciones con una capacidad de 4 mil 800 m2 y contempla m\u00e1s de 2,000 posiciones de estanter\u00eda para el almacenamiento de insumos de asistencia humanitaria.<\/p>\n

Adicionalmente disponen de \u00e1reas abiertas de 2,200 m2, para el almacenamiento al aire libre de equipos y dem\u00e1s recursos orientados a la ayuda humanitaria.<\/p>\n

Durante el evento se hizo un recorrido por las instalaciones donde se explic\u00f3 el proceso de recibo y entrega de los productos, el control de calidad que se llevan con los mismos y el proceso de compra.<\/p>\n

En esta bodega se almacenan implementos de higiene personal, herramientas de construcci\u00f3n, utensilios de cocina, envases para agua, lonas, mosquiteros, frazadas e indumentaria para los voluntarios.<\/p>\n

Walter Cote, director regional para Am\u00e9rica de la FICR destac\u00f3 que con esta bodega ha mejorada la capacidad de operaci\u00f3n y triplicado el modelo de almacenamiento. \u201cEsta bodega va ayudar a Panam\u00e1, Am\u00e9rica y a todo el mundo cuando haya emergencias\u201d dijo Cote.<\/p>\n

Carlos G\u00f3mez, director ejecutivo del CLRAH explic\u00f3 que desde el 2 de enero inici\u00f3 operaciones la administraci\u00f3n del Hub Humanitario y se encuentra operativo e integrado a partir de hoy con la FICR. Se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el Sistema Nacional de Protecci\u00f3n Civil (SINAPROC), est\u00e1 en su proceso final de incorporaci\u00f3n para iniciar las operaciones de su bodega; mientras que Dep\u00f3sito de Respuesta Humanitaria de las Naciones Unidas (UNHRD) que se encuentra en su etapa final de construcci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

En este evento participaron representantes de la Cruz Roja Paname\u00f1a, Noruega, \u00a0Americana, Espa\u00f1ola, Canadiense, del Comit\u00e9 Internacional de la Cruz El Roja y el Programa Mundial de Alimentos, as\u00ed como funcionarios del Hub Humanitario.<\/p>\n
